Dr Coman qualified as a Counselling Psychologist in 1994 and as a Clinical Psychologist in 2001. He is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and is registered with the Health Professions Council. He is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society and Psychological Society of Ireland. He is also an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society
He has over 20 years experience working therapeutically with children and adolescents and their families. Prior to moving to his current post he led a multidisciplinary team in Northern Health and Social Care Trust that provided assessment, consultation and therapeutic support to Care experienced and Adopted Children and those who care for them.
