Dr Louise McConnell is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years experience of working in the Health service. She graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2008 and is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and has membership of the British Psychological Society and the Division of Clinical Psychology.
Dr McConnell has worked in both community and inpatient services and has specialised in the field of Intellectual Disability. As a qualified Clinical Psychologist Dr. McConnell draws on a number of therapeutic approaches and models to meet the needs of clients, families and systems she supports. She works alongside a number of professional teams providing training, supervision and reflective practice. Dr. McConnell is a Practice leader of Positive Behaviour Support and is a qualified facilitator of the International Association of Infant Massage.
